A Bitcoin Protest Poem.
All words in this piece were used from @IamTheCharacter’s BLM protest video on Twitter. I’m not a poet, but I was inspired by Eric aka The Character to write this using his words.
The elites of this country
use the financial system to oppress us
With our own money,
with our dollars, they are killin us
That is absurd.
There is a new financial system
that I want to present to you.
This system is called Bitcoin.
It was created for this very purpose.
All you need is a phone
and the elites do not have control.

My first solution
I wanna present an alternative financial solution – to everyone today
The elites of this country (and globally) use the financial system to oppress us.They are killing us with our own money.

I want everyone to please start learning about a new financial system.
This system is called Bitcoin.

So the elites do not have control over the financial system anymore.
With Bitcoin they can not turn on the printing press & give our dollars to their friends.
For bailing them out, because they weren’t being responsible.
You can not bail people out.
The elites can not bail out their friends, anymore.

You don’t have to put all your money into it.
Like my brother said earlier.

My second point.
We need to – If we aren’t already – to volunteer in our local communities.
If only an hour, at your local community center.
It means a lot to these kids to see your face, to see that they care.
I volunteered with my local youth center in echo park and I can tell you, I got more from it than they did.
It warms my heart to walk in the grocery store & kids run up to me and call me coach.
It’s the warmest feeling in the world.
So please, if we have the time, please lets volunteer.
Because another strategy of the elites is to divide us.
We all have common goals & purposes.
And we need to know who each other are
We need to not be strangers
Lets get in our community.
My third point is to not ignore the ballot box.

Lets put someone in there who at least we can put their feet to the fire.
